RE:  UP AND COMING EVENTS IN THE FOUNDATION STAGE

This term the children will be exploring their new environment and getting to grips with the new routines and the learning ahead.  We would like you to come and share some of these special moments with the children.  We will be having open mornings/afternoons over the term, to which you are invited.

• Thursday 19 October (8.50 - 10.00 am) – Meet in the Hall to find out about reading across the school, then come down to the Foundation Stage exploring reading and early writing activities.
• CHANGED FROM 8 DEC to Friday 1 December (8.50 - 10.00 am) – ‘Gingerbread Man’ – Come on a wellie walk and retell the story of the Gingerbread Man and make your own puppet.
• Wednesday 13 December (2.15 - 3.00 pm) – Our Christmas Nativity.

  Letters linked to these events will be sent out nearer the time; this will ensure that we know the number of adults attending and it will also give you a clearer idea about what will take place.  We have tried to use different days to accommodate everyone’s needs and allow more opportunity for you to be able to attend.

  We are looking forward to our special memorable moments and hopefully the children will be able to share these experiences at home with you.
