Woodlands Values - Mini Project
Woodlands WARMTH Values
For the first two weeks of term, all the children of Woodlands Park Primary School worked together on a whole school project to embed our school values of well-being, aspire, relationships, motivation, trust and holistic (WARMTH) and reflect on what makes Woodlands Park a great learning community.
Volunteers from the school community came to talk to our children about an achievement in their life or their interesting job, so our children now have a developed understanding of the huge opportunities that lie ahead and know that they can achieve great things if they focus on their goals.
The fortnight ended with a fundraising event where all the children completed an active challenge outside and have raised an amazing £1,255.91 for new lunch time equipment. The staff completed a ‘tag team relay’ for 12 hours completing more than 104 miles over the course of the day by walking, running or swimming.
