For friendship week at Woodlands Park, we celebrated diversity and focused on the theme ‘All different. All equal’.  At the start of the week, children dressed in blue.  This colour is used internationally to promote anti bullying messages.  Parents were invited in for a meeting where we discussed our school approach to developing children’s emotional literacy and we gave information about how this could be continued at home.  They then had the opportunity to complete P.S.H.E. activities in the classrooms alongside their children.  Through the rest of the week, children explored the theme further, both in their own classes and with children of other ages from classes across the school.
