Location of Role:              Woodlands Park Primary School, Abbot Road, Ivybridge, PL21 9TF.

Woodlands Park Primary School (Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ March 2015) is located on the west side of Ivybridge with good links to the A38. We have recently joined the Ivybridge Academy Trust and work closely with other excellent primary schools locally to improve outcomes for all pupils.

We are looking for a KS2 teacher.  NQT's are welcome to apply.  You must have a passion for learning, a proven track record of excellence and a clear understanding of effective learning across a primary school.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This role requires an enhanced DBS disclosure.

You will:

  • have experience of recent teaching in key stage 1;
  • be a creative practitioner with proven high standards of teaching and learning;
  • a reflective teacher who questions and challenges yourself to grow and improve;
  • have excellent classroom management and organisational skills;
  • build quick and successful relationships with parents and recognise the importance of working closely with them;
  • have the ability to work as an integral part of a team;
  • be keen to continue to develop your practice within our school.
