'Don't Stop the Music' - November 2014

The children of Woodlands Park Primary School were delighted to receive three huge boxes containing musical instruments that had been kindly donated by members of the public. The ‘Don’t Stop the Music’ Instrument Amnesty called on people to take their unused instruments to branches of Oxfam, where they would be refurbished and donated to one of 150 primary schools.

These instruments are all second-hand and have been loved, cherished and played, and one of the violins sent to Woodlands contained a hand written card from the previous owner who wanted the children to enjoy music as much as her family.
